Monika Maeckle will join CPS Energy as director of integrated communications on Monday, June 17. Maeckle will provide leadership for a combination of communication efforts to include social media, public relations, marketing, internal communications and creative services.
Forecasters predict this summer will be hotter than 2012 and consequently, air conditioners will go into overdrive resulting in increased energy consumption. Compared to last year, CPS Energy customers can expect to pay on average about nine percent more per month.
CPS Energy customers can help improve air quality in the San Antonio area by purchasing electric lawn equipment rebated by CPS Energy. This year marks the 16th Annual Mow Down Smog program that runs through August 31.
