CPS Energy customers have two weeks left to receive a rebate for buying and planting a tree through the Green Shade tree rebate program. April 30 is the last day residential and commercial customers can receive up to three rebates of $50 for each tree purchased that qualifies for the program.

CPS Energy’s acquisition of Rio Nogales, an 800 megawatt (MW) combined-cycle gas plant located in Seguin, Texas, is official. The utility signed a contract with seller Tenaska Capital Management, LLC with the handover being effective April 10.
