High winds, heavy rain and related storm conditions are causing power outages in the Greater San Antonio area. As of 11:55 a.m., approximately 7,000 outages were reported. CPS Energy crews are working to restore power as quickly as possible.

As of 4:30 p.m., approximately 2,500 CPS Energy customers remain without power following a line of severe storms that moved through South Texas this morning. CPS Energy crews continue to work on restoring power as quickly as possible. As many as 12,000 customers experienced outages due to the storms.
