	CPS Energy sold nearly $51 million of its electric and gas systems revenue refunding bonds in New York this week. Proceeds from the sale of the bonds will be used to refund bonds previously issued in 2002, resulting in savings of almost $7.7 million.

CPS Energy Statement: Fukushima, STP Safety, and Our Energy Future

We, at CPS Energy, have watched with sadness as events unfold in Japan, following the earthquake and tsunami on March 11. And like many of you, our first thoughts are for the people of Japan and the need for humanitarian assistance in the wake of this natural disaster. Our thoughts also go to the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) workforce that is struggling to maintain control of the Fukushima nuclear facilities under such extreme conditions.
