The following guidelines apply to all commercial rebates offered by CPS Energy:
All work must be performed in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local, and manufacturers' codes and standards.
Customer is responsible for the proper disposition of any hazardous wastes (i.e., PCB ballasts, fluorescent lamps, CFCs etc.) in compliance with federal, state, local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
Replaced equipment cannot be reused within the San Antonio service area and all installed equipment must be new.
Rebate funding is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rebates limits and caps are on a "per customer" basis.
Rebate amounts for HVAC measures are limited to $50,000. All other rebate amounts are limited to their prospective guidelines.
Rebates are payable to the commercial customer who is the end user of the new equipment.
Rebates (for each installation) cannot exceed 50% of the total job cost (including equipment and labor). [Does not apply to Large Lighting Retrofit projects exceeding 100kW.]
