CPS Energy plans to relocate its existing Marbach Road substation located near Hunt Lane and Everton.  This relocation is required to improve reliability and reduce risk due to flooding conditions at the existing station location and to support continued customer load growth in the area.  The new station is proposed to be built west of the existing Marbach station in the existing transmission right-of-way that CPS Energy currently owns. 

The Marbach Road - Hunt Lane Substation Project is scheduled to be completed by December 2010.
