Peak Savers for Your Multi-Family Property!

If you own or manage apartments or other properties, you now have the opportunity to allow your tenants to save energy and reduce their monthly electric bill just like their neighbors who own homes. It's as simple as having a free Peak Saver thermostat in every residence on your property. Even better, these Honeywell thermostats (valued at $300 each) won't cost you a penny and they will be professionally installed at no charge to you.

Peak Savers Thermostats are part of CPS Energy's continuing efforts to reduce the community's electrical demand, especially during peak demand times such as hot, summer days. In short, Peak Savers are programmable, allowing residents greater control of heating and cooling needs during the day. They can even be adjusted over the Internet. Peak Savers allow CPS Energy to cycle off compressors for a few minutes when local energy demand tends to peak, especially between the months of May and September. Most Peak Saver participants rarely notice that we cycled off their compressors, while others may see a two degree difference in temperature. In the end, your tenants can save up to 10 percent on their energy bills by using a programmable thermostat. They also help CPS Energy make sure enough power is available to the entire community when demand is high. Learn more about Peak Saver Thermostats.
