Contractors for CPS Energy Rebates

Contractors for CPS Energy's home efficiency rebates (including Attic, Spray Foam and Wall Insulation; Cool Roof; and Window Screen and Solar Screen Rebates) are no longer required to attend our rebate classes and register with CPS Energy. However, rebate contractors must be licensed and registered with the City of San Antonio’s Development Services Department and be in good standing.

A list of registered contractors for each of these rebates will no longer be available on this website. Instead, customers can search the City's database of registered contractors for professional assistance with a rebate project.

CPS Energy's Air Flow Performance Rebates and Solar Rebates still require contractors that are currently registered with CPS Energy.

Contractors for CPS Energy rebates must follow all applicable local and state laws regarding building codes, permits and standards. They must have the residential Building Contractor licensee or Home Improvement Contractor license. If you are a contractor in need of permitting and license information, see the City's Development Services website.

It is up to the contractor to follow all requirements of a specified rebate. If work violates local or state requirements, no rebates will be given to the customer.
