CPS Energy crews returned home on Saturday, September 30. Welcome home!
They spent fifteen days in Jacksonville and Key West Florida to help restore electric power to local Floridians. In a People First response to a call from Jacksonville Electric Authority and Keys Energy Services, CPS Energy sent 58 of its highly skilled employees, which included, line crews as well as fleet, safety and other support personnel. Crews left their loved ones behind on Wednesday, September 13, to assist with the restoration efforts, Hurricane Irma devastated much of Florida leaving more than 6.2 million homes without power across the state.
