Gas Appliance Rebate Qualifications

 

CPS Energy offers the following rebates on gas appliances:

  • $100 on any make or model of natural gas clothes dryer
  • $50 on natural gas water heaters -- any size, make, model, both tank and tank-less
  • $50 on a natural gas cooktop or gas stove

To qualify:

  • Rebate recipient must be a CPS Energy natural gas customer
  • Customers must supply an active CPS Energy account number; rebates will be given as a credit to the account
  • Rebates are limited to one gas water heater, one gas clothes dryer and one gas cooktop/stove per household
  • Appliances must be installed at the address corresponding to the CPS Energy account number
  • Customers must provide a legible copy of product receipt itemizing the equipment and purchase date
  • Appliance purchase and installation date must be between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021
  • Customers must complete Natural Gas Appliance Rebate Form and submit it to CPS Energy by December 31, 2021

Additional guidelines:

  • Rebates are offered on a first-come basis until available funds are exhausted or the program is discontinued
  • Upon request, customer agrees with physical inspection of site for verification of installation
  • Applications are also subject to verification
  • The natural gas appliance rebate cannot be used in conjunction with other CPS Energy natural gas rebates
