Gas Meter Maintenance Required
We need to access the gas meter on your property to restore remote gas meter reading capability. There is no charge for this service.
Two visits will be required:
- On our first visit, Zone 1 Utilities Services (3rd party meter installation company that will be upgrading meters) will replace the communication module on the gas meter.
- Our second visit will be to confirm accurate data transmission.
If we are unable to access the meter on your property when we are in your neighborhood, we will leave behind a door hanger to let you know we stopped by.
Communication Module Replacement is needed so that we can remotely read your gas usage. Until the communication module is replaced, and remote meter reading is confirmed, your gas consumption may be estimated for billing, or a field technician will need to read your meter in person.
