You can avoid the $2.35 vendor processing fee for credit card, debit card, or ACH payments by paying in any of the following ways:

  • Directly from a bank checking account
  • By cash or check in person at our payment centers (for free) or at retail outlets (for $1.99)
  • With a physical check by mail using the prepaid envelope included with your bill

Yes, you can use the online one-time payment option to pay on behalf of another customer using their account number, and either the phone number or ZIP code linked to the account. 

You can buy CPS Energy gift certificates at any of our Customer Service Centers. Gift certificates are available in amounts ranging from $10 to $100 and are valid for two years from the date of purchase. No account information or address is required at the time of purchase. Gift certificates can be applied to any CPS Energy account, including inactive accounts.
