After receiving approval from our Board of Trustees on December 4, 2023 and the City of San Antonio City Council on December 7, 2023, we are increasing rates up to 4.25% which will go into effect on February 1, 2024. Residential customers will begin to see an impact of about $4.45 for their monthly electric and gas bill in March, and small commercial customers will see a $17.80 increase for electric and a $24.40 increase for combined electric and gas bills. 

CPS Energy hosts events in our community to talk directly with our customers and listen to what they have to say. Our events give information about our many programs, provide education regarding energy efficiency and conservation, and provide opportunities to engage in dialogue about strategic initiatives.
