Overview

To meet the industry's evolving workforce needs, we have developed two internship programs that offer local San Antonio college and high school students valuable experience in public utility careers.

CPS Energy's Corporate College Internship Program (CCIP) offers local San Antonio college students essential, hands-on career experience in the public utility sector. You'll work with a mentor to acquire valuable skills and gain insight into the strategies behind the energy industry, helping you develop into a future industry leader. The Corporate College Internship Program is offered year-round during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Our high school summer internship is a paid summer program specifically designed for high school juniors and seniors ready to explore the public utilities sector. You will receive personal development, hands-on learning, and direct mentoring while exploring essential entry-level roles, including mailroom and desktop services, customer success, and weatherization, within the utility industry.

Many of our 3,200 team members began their careers right here. Check out our opportunities and apply for the upcoming internship!
