One-time payment: You can make a one-time payment for yourself or someone else using the account number, and either the phone or address (with a $2.35 vendor processing fee).
Manage my account: Signing in to the Manage My Account (MMA) system can save both time and fees. Your account number and address are pre-filled, and you can pay for FREE by providing checking account information. MMA also provides additional payment options.

It is easy to manage your bills when you log in to MMA. MMA allows you to see how much you owe, when your next bill is due, and check past payments. You can also pay quickly, set up auto-pay, view your energy use, update your info, or create a payment plan. Logging in helps you stay in control of your account.
The automated phone and web payment systems are available 24/7. Payment assistance representatives are available Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. CST and Saturday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. CST, excluding bank holidays.
Currently, the new payment system does not accept future-dated payments. You can schedule future-dated payments using ACH/eCheck through MMA for free.
There is a vendor convenience fee of $2.35 per transaction for both residential and commercial customers paying by ACH/eCheck, Debit card, or Credit card over the phone or online. You can make a payment online through MMA using the ACH/eCheck payment for free.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for payments. There is a vendor convenience fee of $2.35 per transaction for both residential and commercial customers paying by Credit Card. You can also pay using your Digital Wallet. A Digital Wallet is an app or online service that allows you to link your credit cards, debit cards, and bank accounts into a digital system for making electronic payments. We currently accept Google Pay and Apple Pay Digital Wallet services.
You must provide the account number and the phone number or zip code associated with the account. You must be advised that there is a $2.35 processing fee per transaction.

Once you enroll in Pay-by-Text (by making your first payment through MMA), you will receive a text message five days before your bill is due. When you accept the payment, it is processed through your credit or debit card with a $2.35 vendor processing fee.
If you need to make a payment greater than the limits set by a vendor payment system, you can use any of the following methods:
- MMA
- Pay My Bill – You can schedule ACH/eCheck payments up to 60 days in advance for up to five future payments with no fee.
- AutoPay – Automatic (recurring) ACH monthly payments.
- Scheduling payments through your bank.
- Paying at authorized pay stations, such as Western Union (HEB), with a $1 convenience fee.
- Paying with cash or checks at a customer walk-in center.
The payment limits for residential and commercial customers are $1,500 per transaction and 50 payments within 26 days, for a total of $7,500.
For payments over the phone, you can store one payment type in the Fast Track option. The Fast Track payment feature is currently unavailable when making a payment online with a credit card.
You can make a one-time payment on behalf of another customer using an account number and the phone number or zip code associated with the account.
