Growing solar as an energy solution for the future

CPS Energy, through power purchase agreements with operators from across the country, has 16 operational solar farms generating 1031 megawatts of renewable power.* These solar farms are located in and around the San Antonio area, as well as multiple communities across Texas.

San Antonio is recognized as a leader in solar energy, with one of the strongest commitments to renewable power in Texas and the nation.

We are also looking to make solar power more accessible and affordable for our customers. Through our Sustainable Tomorrow Energy Plan (STEP), we have multiple solar programs that offer solar options for our customers.
