Customers still in an outage need to make plans to stay somewhere cool and safe overnight. Places to Stay Cool and Resiliency Centers are available at SA.gov/HotWeather. Outage restoration will take several days. As a reminder, please stay away from downed power lines and treat them as if they are energized. Report downed power lines to 210-353-HELP (4357). We will continue providing updates as restoration efforts progress.
All Night Security Lights (ANSL) Request
CPS Energy has now transitioned to LEDs as the new lighting standard for all roadway, highway and All Night Security Lights (ANSL). To request a new ANSL complete our online form below.
CPS Energy maintains streetlights throughout the Greater San Antonio area and will repair damage to existing street lights to include bulb replacement or light/pole damages. Click here to report and submit a street light or ANSL outage or repair.
No more than 5 ANSLs will be allowed per property, except for requests in residential developments with private streets. Customers requesting more than 5 ANSLs must hire an engineer/electrician to design, furnish, and install their lighting- system behind a CPS Energy metered service point.
