Residential Energy Assistance Partnership (REAP)

Help a neighbor in need. Give to REAP.
Residential Energy Assistance Partnership (REAP) is a partnership of CPS Energy, the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. REAP provides energy bill assistance twice a year to those in need. The City of San Antonio and Bexar County process applications from customers. CPS Energy contributes at least $1 million a year to the REAP fund and handles the program’s marketing, fundraising, and back office administrative requirements.
How Can You Help?
Consider a donation to REAP the next time you pay your bill. Every dollar donated goes directly to those who need help. Program participants receive credit directly to their utility bills, ensuring they don't have to wait for a check or worry about managing any funds.
Giving to REAP is easy. You can add a few dollars to your utility payment and indicate that amount on your bill stub, whether you pay online or by paper. Or use the “Donate to REAP” link on this page to donate by debit or credit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay. You can also make a mobile donation by texting “REAPSATX” to 41444.
*Note: There is a small processing fee associated with debit and credit card payments.
Donors should receive a tax letter stating their donations. If you need assistance with a donation or would like to see a statement of your donations, contact us by email: [email protected].
If you need assistance with your bill, contact CPS Energy Community Engagement at 210-353-4483.
