Theft of natural gas and electricity can be deadly. It costs ratepayers more than half a million dollars each year. You can help stop thieves by reporting suspicious activity. 

Here are some things to look for:   

  • A non-uniformed person working on a meter, on power lines or digging near underground utility lines and transformers
  • Loose wiring or objects connected to or near a meter
  • Flexible tubing that is always near a meter
